Production Lab

The production lab is a facility used to simulate/research various industrial/production processes.

The lab consists of 4 major areas:

Laboratory Areas

  1. 1

    5G Smart Production

The 5G Smart Production is focused on implementing robotics and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) into traditional packing and assembly lines. This smart production is used in various research projects and in educating students and visitors about Industry 4.0.

  3. 3

    Industrial Automation and Mobile Robotics

The Production lab has a large selection of mobile robots and industrial manipulators. These robots are available for both students and researchers for projects and courses. Some of these robots, namely the Little Helpers, are often used together with the 5G Smart Production Lab to demonstrate how mobile robots and industrial manipulators can be tightly integrated in a traditional production line.
