In our mechanical test lab, there is a possibility to do fracture mechanic tests using different static and fatigue machines.

The moment rig machine can be coupled with the ‘’Zwick 100KN’’ static machine in order to do the crack propagation test on Double Cantilever Beam (DCB) test specimens. The moment rig can also be used together with the ‘’Schenck 100KN’’ machine to carry out fatigue tests on DCB specimens. Noting that both static and fatigue fracture mechanics tests can also be conducted by means of fracture setup fixture available in the lab on ‘’Electropuls 2KN and 10KN (E10000)’’.
