Center for Industrial Production
The Center for Industrial Production (CIP) serves as a national hub for applied research in industrial manufacturing. As such, we are a key partner for the Danish Manufacturing industry in their development of sustainable and future-ready operations. At the same time, we conduct internationally recognized research in the domains of operations & supply chain management, innovation management, and organizational design.
As a cross-disciplinary research group, we bundle competence to address current topics and challenges of manufacturing industries: the twin digital & green transition, smart production, circular economy, or the increasingly volatile supply chain.
We are key actors in leading national networks and initiatives for the development of the Danish industry, such as Manufacturing Academy Denmark (MADE) and the Innomission program. We moreover work closely with both large and small manufacturing firms across Denmark. Our ongoing research is funded through national and European funds, such as Innovation Fund, Industriens Fund, the Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF), and EU Regional Funds.
As educators, we contribute to the development of Denmark's future and current engineers in the programs Global Business Engineering (BSc), Operations and Innovation Management (MSc), Operations and Supply Chain Management (MSc), and Management of Technology (MBA).
