Bio- and Chemical Lab

The research group combines knowledge based in physics, chemistry, molecular biology and microbiology. This expertise is applied to nanotechnological problems ranging from sensor applications, polymers and hydro gels all the way to drug delivery systems and cell scaffolds. Molecular engineering and de novo enzyme design is being applied to enzymes for plastic degradation.
