Professor Erik Lund and Assistant Professor Verena Stingl honoured as Teachers of the Year 2025 at Department of Materials and Production, Aalborg University.

The Teachers of the Year 2025 at MP were presented by Frederik Klitgaard, student and vice-chair of the study board of Mechanics and Physics.

Both Professor Erik Lund and Assistant Professor Verena Stingl received honours and diplomas for their outstanding efforts and dedication to teaching.

"Their passion for inspiring and guiding our students has made a significant difference, and we are incredibly proud to have them as part of our team," emphasized Frederik Klitgaard.

"Erik, your students describe you as more than a great teacher - they describe you as someone who truly makes a difference. Your dedication to clear communication, your thorough and thoughtful course materials, and your genuine care for student success have left a lasting impact. From detailed notes and practical examples to your supportive approach as a supervisor, you consistently go above and beyond. On behalf of the Study Board of Mechanics and Physics, and with heartfelt thanks from your students - congratulations!"

Frederik Klitgaard also praised Assistant Professor Verena Stingl:
